O2 Oxygen Sensor spacer / extender.
These have 18mm threads and is used to space the Oxygen Sensor out of the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe to make it less sensitive to the oxygen rich exhaust gases.
This simple device helps to lean the vehicle's fuel mixture slightly to increase fuel economy when used with an HHO system. Without these your car's computer will sense the engine is running too lean (too much oxygen in exhaust gases). This is caused by the oxygen rich exhaust gases emitted by the exhausted HHO gas.
The car's electronic control unit will send a signal to the fuel injectors to increase their pulse causing the car to use more fuel than required.
These extenders alone without an HHO system will actually increase your fuel economy slightly. We recommend installing these when running HHO cells to get the full benefits of hydrogen cell use.
To install you simply unscrew the O2 sensor out of the exhaust, install the extender, then screw the o2 sensor into the extender. It’s that simple, no other adjustments are necessary.
Check your cars sensor location and number of o2 sensors. Some cars have two o2 sensors so you will need two extenders. You can find out how many your car has and their location on your particular vehicle from your local mechanic or car dealer.
*This Isolator is Universal and it will fit most cars except 1999 or older Toyota / Mazda that use o2 sensors that use 2 bolts to attach to the exhaust pipe rather than the screw in type.
